This is not an article im editing a lot, but your basic idea seems right. we dont need to add "firearm" unless he used the word. in this case, since we havent had a court procedure yet, simply quoting him is perfect. Id say go ahead and make the change, but do mention on the talk page of the article that you did this, and that you are a newer editor. others may revert it, but will know you are trying to coordinate. we are allowed to "be bold" and make edits which just seem right (if sourced, which this is of course). if we waited for perfect consensus from all editors before making any changes, nothing would happen.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 17:34, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
