A tag has been placed on The Bloomfields requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. sixtynine • spill it • 04:16, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Sopiz[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sopiz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Viva Cinema requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Final Warning[edit]

Stop creating articles from text copied from elsewhere now, or you will be blocked. Wikipedia cannot accept text from elsewhere without permission. You have been notified many, many times by the Bot and you persist in violating copyright without explanation. Please stop and explain your actions here. Thankyou. – Toon 15:59, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, a follow-up. I notice that some of the articles you created are taken from Wikiphilipinas, which is licensed under the GFDL. It is understandable that you assumed that we could use the content here, but since our switch to CC-BY-SA, we can't use content that is only licensed under the GFDL. I also note that you tried to attribute the source, which is good but we still can't use it. Please read Wikipedia:Copyrights before creating any more articles to ensure that you are fully aware of what we can and cannot use here; repeated infringement of copyrights could place Wikipedia (and individual editors) at risk of legal actions that would be potentially disastrous for the project. Your participation is welcome, but I'd advise that you read Wikipedia:Your first article and Wikipedia:Copyrights before proceding. If you have questions, I am happy to try and help you. – Toon 16:47, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
