Anon Bite - (Leave for further discussion)
On friday (07/20) you posted a notice on my user page about biting IP addresses. It infered that my posts to IP addresses would be unhelpful in attempting to become a useful bureaucrat or admin. I replied to you but it seems to have been archived, without a final reply. I explained my reasons and on my watchlist I found this comment from you to another IP user User_talk:195.212.52.6. Your comments on my talk page are open to all. I explained my rationale, but I do feel that I should also point out to you that if my actions were wrong you should not repeate them albeit yours were in a verbose manner. Before you wrote the above text, it might have seemed obvious that I posted the sock warning and yes I did discuss the other sock which I gave you links to. I explained that it wasn't reasonable to report every dynamic IP to AIV. You never replied and archived that talk.
I am very disappointed that you raise the User:DWaterson talk. I as any other editor can comment on others behaviour in Afd. As I will repeate until infinity Afd is not a happy place. All editors should be careful of there use of terms. Cheers might well be appropriate as a greeting or salutation, but not in Afd.
As per your comments in Talk:Second_city_of_the_United_Kingdom it wasn't sniping, it just didn't make sense. It was disjointed and carried a lot of unnecessary big words verbum sap.
I have nothing against you, but to accuse me of doing something and you do the same thing and then accuse me (a la straw man) of misinterpretation is just wrong.

Please respond to "deletion" topic. I have been up and down the tutorial and couldn't find any information on adding the <*ref> tags. Being something highly required by Wikipedia, I found it disenchanting when I couldn't find it. Also, Thank you for the information about the "list entry" feel. unfortunately little to no information is documented on the subject and I'm having to put in first world time into researching the subject. By this, I'm talking to archives and restoration projects, film historians and researching second hand accounts of people who stated seeing a cartoon, with this guy... he had shoes...
Long story short, I'm afraid the entry is going to be removed because of my simple mistakes as a new user to wikipedia and therefore, an actual term with real history is left at the acknowledgment of those who see it as a quick addition for what ever reason people add mindless crap to the site. The main thing to remember is that gaymation is based on subject, story and actors. It can be argued that Elen Degenerus did the voice in Finding Nemo but while she is a lesbian, Finding Nemo is not thought of as a gay animation in subject, story or containing a gay character.
Fact finding will have to be found through originations like Outfest, UCLA and other respected film historians who document and study cinema.
I'm currently on hold for a reply from a few vendors who distribute rare prints and (fingers crossed) will have a cleaner line on studios and independent projects that were shown at the NY underground. Again, Thank you! Sappyhucks 18:05, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

It's probably better if I find the reference material being some "themes" and "information" may be a bit adult in nature. Yaoi is one such theme but to answer your question, Yaoi is not gaymation.
The string for Yaoi would be Animation > Japanimation > Hentai > Yaoi (some yaoi is found in manga) but the point being... It's a subset to Japanimation. Japanimation being "Japanese Animation" and Gaymation being "Gay Animation" - Though Yaoi is "gay animation" - its roots, its following and it's classification are in japan. On a lighter note, i was about to write this last night, but got distracted by Firangi Mahal. I made an attempt to tidy up the article but is missing about 200 years of history. Was a very interesting first welcome back project though. lets hope some of the editors notice and add :-)

Woah! What's going on here? Three minutes after the page was created, you AFD'd it. When you nominated it (in the wrong place), you're rationale was "empty page", and violation of WP:CRYSTAL. - Yes, that would be a good idea. I suggest also putting a note in the Edit Summary when you remove the {{uw-block}} that it was given in error. And don't beat yourself up over this! RE:Blocking
I'll make this candid. The reasons for blocking are below (obviously):
- We (a group of people on IRC) thought that nominating a user for adminship on the 5th day was a bit suspicious, but neglected to check the rename log.
- Creating a talk archive on your 5th day here was also a bit suspicious.
After thinking this over, I have decided that all reasons (both [now-regarded as] invalid and minor legit ones) are not block worthy. Sorry for misjudging you.

Deletion of My Article
(I hope I am doing this right! You invited me to ask you questions on my talk page, so here I am. Thank you ahead of time for your time.)
My first Wikipedia article was recently deleted. I believe this was not actually the result of consensus of editors, but was the result of a serious internet attack on me in which one of the Wikipedia editors who sought deletion of the article directly participated. I have sent the following to this editor as well as to the editor who told me my article had been deleted, but I'm sending it to you as well for your comment. I am, again, not sure I am proceeding correctly, but I know Wikipedia asks that in a dispute, we go directly to the parties involved first.
I recently created a Wikipedia page for myself, Cheryl Lindsey Seelhoff. I knew Wikipedia opposes autobiographical pages, and I thought about asking others to submit a page for me in their own names, knowing they would gladly have done so, but that seemed not quite honest to me, so I submitted my own page in my own name. I was new to Wikipedia, learning everything from scratch, I made mistakes, but they were honest mistakes, and I ultimately included substantial citations to credible outside references which supported what was included in my article. In response to the concerns about the article being autobiographical, I offered to ask others to rewrite the article and add to it, a compromise several editors seemed to view as satisfactory.
Shortly after submitting my article, my websites, boards, and blog were targeted for attacks by "not420/chan", "Anon," "Legion", the "Internet Hate Machine," aggressive internet hackers, in other words. My boards were hacked and spammed with racist, misogynist rhetoric and pornography, e-mail accounts of board members were hacked and violated, and my sites were subjected to "gigaloader" attacks over many days which ultimately forced them off the internet. My life has now been threatened many times in e-mails and via comments to my blog, and I have also received many rape threats, as have my commenters, colleagues and supporters. I am still receiving murder and rape threats.
My personal information, address, telephone number, and other information was published on "Encyclopedia Dramatica" alongside ongoing strategizing as to how to destroy my websites and web presence, harrass me and my family in an ongoing way, and cause me real life harm. The reason for this targeting and harrassment is that I am an outspoken radical feminist.
As part of these attacks, persons were urged to come to Wikipedia and to vote that my Wikipedia article be deleted. Iamcuriousblue, who has evidently written for Wikipedia at some point, was the first advocate for deletion and continued to press for deletion for days and probably weeks. Iamcuriousblue, as it turns out, is also a moderator at Encyclopedia Britannica. During the discussion of deletion, my article was repeatedly being vandalized, filled with links to racist, misogynist pornograpy, my interracial children were called "mud children," and the most vile speech imaginable was included as "edits", in part by those sent to vandalize the site by Encyclopedia Dramatica, which, again, iamcuriousblue helps to moderate.
Iamcuriousblue, who again spearheaded the drive to delete my article, has a long history of attacking my writings and political activism because he is opposed to radical feminism and is a pro-pornography activist. As a moderator at Encyclopedia Dramatica, he has participated directly or indirectly in the attacks on my sites, my boards, my blog, and my person -- attacks which I have reported to the FBI and for which I am seeking legal counsel.
I followed some of the discussion of deletion and noted that fair-minded, intelligent, credible and, most importantly, objective, Wikipedia editors voted not to delete. One editor noted that among certain populations, my name is a household world. He's right, it is. I am cited as a credible outside reference in at least one Wikipedia article. The discussion, however, continued to be spammed with anonymous deletion votes which in fact were part of the internet attacks against me. My sense is that the vote to delete may have resulted more from a desire to end the ongoiing, very toxic and hateful vandalism of my page and ongoing flaming and conflicts than because any sort of consensus had been reached that my article should be deleted on its merits. I ultimately cited to many independent, outside references which are, in fact, thoroughly credible.
I do not see how what happened to me here can be consistent with the community ethos or values of Wikipedia. I think what happened to me here was wrong. The deletion of the article is now being touted as a "victory" by internet thugs at Encyclopedia Dramatica and elsewhere, as well as by those who oppose my long history of anti-pornography, radical feminist politics. And it is a victory for them, but I think it compromises the credibility of Wikipedia's editorial policies and processes.
I would ask that you give what I have written here your serious consideration. I am consulting with attorneys and other authorities and will be including what happened to me here at Wikipedia as evidence of the harm done to me by not420chan, "Legion", Encyclopedia Dramatica, iamcuriousblue, and all who have threatened to rape and murder me, to harm my family, all who have destroyed my websites, or who have aided and abetted those who have harmed me in these ways.

- This response is so completely unbelievable, I don't know where to begin. First, here is the AfD page (pre-courtesy blanking). The article (about the above individual and initially authored by her) in question was found by an overwhelming majority of users (even when disregarding SPAs) to be about a non-notable subject and was deleted following normal Wikipedia procedures. This user is now treating this as a personal attack, and not only that, is now using this as a pretext to threaten me with legal action. I'll note that I have absolutely nothing to do with the attacks on this individual by 4chan, "Anonymous", Encyclopedia Dramatica, etc. This user is basically taking offense at my starting the AfD, and on comments I've made about her (non-threatening and having nothing to do with the AfD) on various blogs where her politics and actions were being discussed. I'll note that the threat of legal action on this forum is in direct violation of Wikipedia:No legal threats, an action that can result in a block of one's Wikipedia account. I am hereby asking User:Heartsees2 to withdraw this ludicrous threat immediately, or barring that, asking any Wikipedia admins who may be following this to block this user's account. - I also note that in the missive on this talk page, she actually accuses me of being a moderator for Encyclopedia Dramatica. This is utterly and completely false. I am not even an editor there. My sole communication with ED has been via their blog, ( blog.encyclopediadramatica.com/?p=10#comments ) (the spam filter is blocking this URL, so you'll have to copy and paste it). New Article
Hi Onnaghar! I've made an entirely new article! Hurray. There was a request for Hatshepsut's temple in Wikiproject:Architecture and seeing as how I have historical architecture sources just lying around I figured I'd contribute. Hopefully everything's peachy, (and it dosn't get deleted or anything.) Hatshepsut's temple has sections in Hatshepsut and Deir el Bahari however it's a widely known historical site - it's the first mortuary temple for a female pharaoh, marks the turn in ancient egyptian architecture, and is arguably the closest egypt came to achieving the visual appeal and proportion of Classical Architecture... so, I figure it's notable enough to deserve it's own space. :). - Campanile 23:32, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Strangeness
Hey Onnaghar. So apparently, someone took Hatshepsut's temple, merged it into Deir el Bahari, (Poorly, too - repeat information, bad section breaks...) Then realized it was messy and remade the article as Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, redirecting Hatshepsut's temple to this new article - leaving all the information Deir el Bahari, thus not solving the messy problem that caused him to remake the article... (Does this sort of illogical editing happen often?) Should I edit out the now duplicate information in Deir el Bahari leaving a brief summary? Edit out all the information in Deir el Bahari and simply link it? (which seems logical to me, if considering precident on other Egyptian Places housing Notable Architecture - see Valley of the Queens) Fix the poorly copied information in Deir el Bahari and delete the Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut or... I've no problem at all with the merge - good spot, actually - but is "Jimmy Cumbes" the right place? His CricketArchive page calls him James, while Cricinfo's bio calls him Jim - as does the Aston Villa card shown on the latter page. - Yes, I think my inclination would be to have the article at Jim Cumbes, as that seems to be the name by which he is known nowadays, for example in this Cricinfo piece, this ECB one and this Manchester Evening News column.
