Epilepsy etymology

Hi Dactarianou. I don't regard the etymology of a word to be a priority encyclopaedic fact: something so important that we have to give it before we even tell the reader what the subject is, in English. These sort of thing are typically the domain of dictionaries. If you see the History section, the etymology is covered in detail and sourced to the OED. Most of our readers can't actually read the Greek characters. It just gets in the way of providing a succinct sentence that defines Epilepsy, which is what our lead sentence should do. I would appreciate if you would consider reverting your change. All the information is in the article, it is just a matter of prioritising what should be in the lead and what should be in the first sentence of the lead. -- Colin°^Talk 14:22, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Zeibekiko, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Your edit restored old stuff which reached never consensus at the article's talk page (as you claimed in the summary) - on the contrary, it lead to semi-protection of the article a couple of times. Alfie↑↓© 09:16, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Uhm, Alfie, please be careful with vandalism charges. While I personally don't agree with Dactarianou's edit, it certainly wasn't vandalism, and he clearly discussed it in advance and made a sincere attempt to gain consensus for it. Please don't use vandalism rollback and user warnings on such edits. Fut.Perf. ☼ 10:03, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
