Removing template unsigned from the bottom of an article
Please do not post the user IP address of my account when I have not signed the article as I am posting from a shared IP address when I did not sign the bottom of the article and I won’t remove it then, as I have every right to anonymity if I choose.

Re. a case of WP:CIR
919499sp seems to be having difficulties either A) understanding the advice I previously gave to them (which is to properly format their references) or B) writing in coherent English (this is gibberish; I went to the original source because I couldn't be bothered trying to decipher it). Instead of handing out inaccurate warning templates; you probably ought to file a report at ANI due to this editor's obvious WP:CIR problems. Pippa Middleton wikipedia page
Hi David, I received your message about my edits to the Pippa Middleton wikipedia page. It was claimed that my edits were based on poorly sourced material, but I'm not sure why I need a source to justify my edit, because any media article about Pippa Middleton just calls her 'Pippa Middleton' and not 'Pippa Matthews.' The link to the Royal Family website (the webpage about Prince Louis' christening) doesn't prove that Pippa has legally changed her name, so I'm not sure if that can count as a verifiable, accurate source to justify calling Pippa Middleton 'Pippa Matthews,' and I don't think Pippa herself has said publicly that she has legally changed her surname, which is why I made the edit in the article. I think Wikipedia should just assume married women don't take their husbands' name unless publicly stated otherwise. That's what people in real life would do. Wikipedia doesn't change the surname of married gay men so that they have the same surnames as their male spouse. Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Buttigieg#Personal_life/. Alfredo Jadresic: You beat me to it!
I learned yesterday of Alfredo's death (not yesterday, in fact, but about three hours after he died, as my wife has been in constant contact with his wife/widow), but only today of the announcement from the Faculty of Medicine. I was going to add the information to his article, but I saw you had got there before me. Anyway I'll add the places (Iquique - Santiago). I had him in the category of Chileans of Croatian origin, but an officious editor removed the entry on the ground that I didn't provide a convincing proof. I was hoping that the announcement from the Faculty of Medicine would mention his Croatian origin, but it doesn't. However, there will probably be an obituary in El Mercurio in the next week or so, and I hope it will mention that his parents (or grandparents -- I'm not sure) immigrated from Dalmatia. It was a well-intentioned suggestion - many programming languages will indeed get mad at you for mixing up single quotes and double quotes - but JavaScript is an ugly duckling and accepts both (thus confusing everybody). Editing/minor edits
I think this is a part of the larger problem that I treat edits as things that I can come back to later without interruption, that's the vision I typically get from popular culture, that is to say that all your revisions will be realized when they are all pristine and clear, after you've gone away had a think and read about it, had a clear of your head etc etc, at which point you make a major edit. But at this point I'm pretty certain I was wrong.
I notified the person who reverted the edit User talk:Holidayruin either just after or before I made the edit, I adjusted it based on the criteria he/she wanted at Park Chung Hee. I am sorry I keep forgetting to mark the edits as minor/major as I'm generally distracted by , I should be taking a temporary leave from Wikipedia for a bit regardless. Although I realize this is a problem and if it happens again I should probably get blocked from editing for whatever span, permanent restriction would really sting though. Before the first warning I hadn't read the requirements for marking something as a minor edit. Sorry for the trouble.

1992 Summer Paralympics
During a search for another subject, I ended up discovering that there are the results of the Paralympic Games for People with Intellectual Disabilities that were held in Madrid, a few days after the closing in Barcelona. The Games were organized by the same Organizing Committee and by the ICC as an integral part. However, the results were lost or for some reason they are not within the IPC database. In this research I acidentaly found the medals table and added them to the historical table. Therefore, Romania and Dominican Republic appear with more medals like all the countries that won medals in Madrid, as happened with Uruguay.

It's not very civil to just call someone utterly incompetent (As you did towards ACtiling) instead of, you know, just letting them know what they did wrong? Tall Buildings
I note you reverted my addition of Norwich Cathedral on grounds that the lead paragraph specifically excludes spires. This is an error in the lead. It cites the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat as excluding spires, but if you follow links in that article, you will find that the Council specifically includes spires (it excludes flagpoles and antennae). This fact was brought to my attention by Mangoe at the article's deletion discussion page Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_tallest_buildings_by_United_Kingdom_settlement. - The CBTUH page seems to talk of 3 different criteria. If there is confusion on List of tallest buildings by United Kingdom settlement and you wish to suggest changing the lede, the place to discuss it is on the article's talk page (and then there would be the fun of changing the article to match a new definition), though of course you may wish to wait until the AFD has run its course. --David Biddulph (talk) 12:56, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- Yup, two of those criteria include spires, and one is to the highest occupied floor which is going to be a total nightmare to determine (for a lot of buildings, anyway; I have no idea, for example, what use is made of any part of Norwich's cathedral spire. There's a window half way up, but whether anyone does anything up there, I have no clue. I don't know if anyone does anything at the top of the city hall tower either; certainly they don't in the bell section, and I have no clue what excess height the bell tower is above the occupied floor below it). That mischief at Tonga
You just "rolled back" some vandalism at Tonga. That was just a couple of minutes after I reverted that same bit of mischief. Now, there's no history of my having reverted it--neither at the Tonga history, nor in my own Contribution history. I'm not complaining; the vandalism has been undone, and I'm not concern about who, on the record, undid it. But I'm curious about this "rollback," and how whatever you did was different from what I did. (I also wonder if what I did doesn't show, perhaps because you did whatever at the same time--and maybe clicked Publish Changes a moment before I did.) - Yes, it can be confusing. It doesn't matter what route is used to revert, rollback, or undo an edit. If 2 editors do something different to the same part of an article at the same time, it can be flagged as an edit conflict, but if the 2 editors do the same thing, the history records whichever hits the button first, and the 2nd editor sees a confused situation, thinking that their edit has gone through but in fact it was the other editor's change (without being told of what has happened). --David Biddulph (talk) 14:26, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

- Crystal clear. You removed the infobox, you removed at least one maintenance tag, you removed about 10 reference citations, you changed spelling from British English to American in an article that is written in British English about a British subject, you broke the referencing in the lede and changed it from proper footnotes to a copy of the browser rendering, and you used the edit summary "I changed the grammar mistakes". Hi David Biddulph, the reason for restoring archived material on the Talk Page for Turmeric is that the discussion is currently very relevant. And, per Help:Archiving a talk page:
"It is customary to periodically archive old discussions on a talk page when that page becomes too large. Bulky talk pages may be hard to navigate, contain obsolete discussion, or become a burden for users with slow Internet connections or computers."
Since the discussion on the talk page is currently relevant, and this talk page is not "too large" or "a burden for users with slow Internet connections or computers", then it stands to reason that the discussion material should be restored to the talk page.
