Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Balika Vadhu.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Balika Vadhu.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aaron Booth (talk) 18:52, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

March 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from File:Balika Vadhu.jpg. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:Balika Vadhu.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Balika Vadhu.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:56, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bhairavi Raichura has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. April 2012[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Balika Vadhu, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Aaron Booth (talk) 18:45, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Balika Vadhu, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. See WP:PLOT Aaron Booth (talk) 20:09, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Speedy deletion declined: Kairi (TV series)[edit]

Hello Djole 555. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kairi (TV series), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Judging by the number of incoming links, this is a very important redirect. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 16:38, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

Hello. Please read Help:Redirect to learn more about how and why Wikipedia uses redirect pages. In general, it is not appropriate to delete the redirect that is left behind after a page is moved, because readers who are looking for the page may know its old name, not the new name. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 16:51, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. §§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 11:40, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Taming Strange[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your creation of Taming Strange, as we really appreciate your participation. However, a portion of the material you included had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, material obtained through personal knowledge, or which constitutes the an analysis or interpretation by the editor that is not found in cited sources. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 17:30, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You moved this redirect, saying we need a comma, without giving any sources that use a comma. This is basically vandalism - don't do it again. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 21:25, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rob Oliver has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

A tag has been placed on Timothy Bailey, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It is obvious that these two IPs trying to get the PERJE redirect deleted [1] [2] is you since you were the first one who tagged it for deletion and the IPs are making the same request. I declined your original speedy deletion tag because it was not a valid speedy deletion criteria. The article is not "empty content" and "unnecessary" is a subjective issue not applicable to any of the speedy deletion criteria. It has been subsequently declined three more times. Please stop trying to speedy delete the redirect. Instead, please use the Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion process to start a discussion if you wish to have the redirect deleted. Continued speedy deletion tagging of the redirect is disruptive and if you continue to do so, you will find yourself blocked and the redirect semi-protected to prevent continued disruptive editing. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:35, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect has now been semi-protected due to the disruptive editing. You will now have to open a proper Redirects for discussion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:26, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
