Orphaned non-free media (Image:SET Logo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SET Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Bear / bare[edit]

Regarding this change, you had it right the first time. It's "bear with me" as in be patience or offer me forebearance. Just thought you might like to know. I didn't fix it since it's your personal comment. →Wordbuilder (talk) 19:03, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Yeah, I'll give you a hand with the logo. If you want, upload it and then let me know its location (you can re-use the old location, just ignore the warning). I'll check it over and make sure that everything meets Wikipedia's guidelines regarding fair use rationale. That should be enough to avoid it being deleted again as long as it appears in an article. →Wordbuilder (talk) 19:25, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded the image and added it to the infobox. Here's the direct link to the infobox template. →Wordbuilder (talk) 19:45, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to help. If you ever have a question, let me know. →Wordbuilder (talk) 20:18, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TfD nomination of Template:Infobox SET[edit]

Template:Infobox SET has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. I added the infobox directly to the article so the template is no longer needed. First, Wikipedia only only allows non-free images in articles, so the graphic had been taken out of the template. Second, since the infoxbox is now directly in the article, it is easier to find and update. Otherwise, it's exactly the same. Let me know if you have any questions. →Wordbuilder (talk) 13:57, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If I understand correctly, you've not altered the content, but only the Wiki formating, is that correct? I've checked the page and don't see any apparent changes. If my understanding is correct, then thank you very much for your help. It's much appreciated. Dolamite02 (talk) 23:15, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. Everything is the same. It's just directly on the page now instead of in a separate template. This allows it to be accessed more easily and allows the image to be included. →Wordbuilder (talk) 00:05, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Society of Engineering Technologists requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TM 14:44, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
