Copyright status of Image:Digital studio.jpg[edit]

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Image:Digital studio.jpg. For legal reasons, we will delete copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites (http://www.niallmclaughlin.com/0120_1.html in this case) or from printed material.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

 • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article's talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
 • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Image:Digital studio.jpg with a link to where we can find that note;
 • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article's talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Image:Digital studio.jpg with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own original words to avoid any copyright infringement. Thank you. — mholland (talk) 23:45, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As above, I have also tagged Image:Headingtonhillhall.jpg for deletion, as it violates the copyright of this website. Please note that images found on the Internet, especially via search engines such as Google, cannot usually be used on Wikipedia. Thanks. — mholland (talk) 23:56, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Headington hill hall.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Headingtonhillhall.jpg. The copy called Image:Headingtonhillhall.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 00:03, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Spluff has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced made up word

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing dated prod will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Spluff[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Spluff, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. February 2010[edit]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Spluff‎. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 22:02, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
