Image copyright problem with Image:Silvio_dante.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Silvio_dante.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Unspecified source for Image:Silvio_dante.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Silvio_dante.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:09, 18 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 22:09, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BLP violation - September 2009[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Drew Barrymore. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 14:58, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Drew Barrymore. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. You should also take careful note that that removal of BLP violations is exempt from 3RR/edit warring sanctions, so that editors who remove the unsourced content you have repeatedly added to the article will not be blocked. September 2009[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Drew Barrymore. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Tony Fox (arf!) 15:59, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits were violations of our guidelines regarding biographies of living persons, as you were informed prior to being blocked. You were also edit warring. I have Drew Barrymore on my watchlist because it is a regularly vandalized article; your edits were inappropriate and were removed as per our guidelines. I suggest you read through some of the links you've had provided above to learn how to edit Wikipedia productively. Tony Fox (arf!) 16:01, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The edits you made were unsourced (first-hand "hey I heard this on the radio" type sourcing is not appropriate), and disparaging to the subject. That violates BLP. Read the policy. Tony Fox (arf!) 16:17, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Quite frankly, no. My view is that your edit is trivial, unnecessary, and disparaging. Again, read the policy. If you absolutely insist on including this trivial bit of information, take it to Talk:Drew Barrymore for discussion. I doubt you'll get very far with it. Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:44, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Mick Thomson, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 14:08, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the above article again, as you have not properly sourced the edit. If you continue to insist upon inserting unsourced information into Wikipedia articles, I will block you indefinitely until you indicate that you understand our requirements for referencing. Consider this a final warning. Tony Fox (arf!) 19:08, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
