I've indefinitely blocked this account as part of the below sock ring, with this one designated as sockmaster since it has the earliest creation date.

Generally speaking all of these accounts were created in the last 6 months and almost exclusively edit articles relating to terrorism and counter terrorism, special operations and intelligence, military units and awards, films relating to terrorism/intel/wars/etc (e.g. Ronin, Syriana and others by Obamiac; Mission Impossible and Taken by SFBubba; and Taken by CaliSEAL), and an obvious interest in Iraq and Afghanistan (particularly the latter) and wars/conflicts in those countries or regions.

Today User:Obamiac and User:HoyaProff tag team edit-warred at Barack Obama. This abusive sockpuppetry combined with the above is in my view sufficient justification for an indefinite block of all of these accounts. --Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 21:26, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These are multiple persons (students), living in a communal environment (with a common modem I presume). We share many interests and several of us are prior military. We discuss artices and often point out the ones we like for others to visit. I do need to better familiarize myself with the rules.
