Speedy deletion of Kevan Shaw[edit]

A tag has been placed on Kevan Shaw requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Article deleted[edit]

I am sorry to say that your first effort at an article ended with a rough consensus for it to be deleted. I hope that you will not be discouraged by the harsh way your career as an encyclopedia writer has begun; many of us (including myself) have seen our articles suffer that fate. As you can see, Wikipedia places a great deal of importance in the subject matter being independently sourced, so I recommend keeping that in mind if you make another attempt at an encyclopedia article for a different subject.
