1915 FA Cup final[edit]

The Official Biography is a little vague about Molyneux. In reviewing the match, it says: "Old reliables had wilted in the mood. A poor clearance from Jack Harrow, a fumble from the keeper Jim Molyneux, an enfeebling injury to Ford...", which implies he was at fault for one of the goals, but doesn't say which one. This match report suggests he "should have prevented" the first goal. Hope that helps. Nice work on the article, by the way. Best. SteveO (talk) 01:34, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've got some more info on some of the Blades players from this game - I've spruced up Billy Cook and Jack English but it's going to take some time to get round to all of them. Bladeboy1889 (talk) 17:45, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yep - it might take a while but I do have info on pretty much every Blades player via The Encyclopedia, 100 Years Records and Biography books. there's probably more info in there about the cup final iteslf as well. It might take a couple of months to amend all of them though.

Now if you fancy starting ont he 1925 cup final I can help with that one too... Bladeboy1889 (talk) 16:38, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As you have a particular interest in George Utley I've focussed on him and added in a load more information on his article. Bladeboy1889 (talk) 15:08, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1912 FA Cup Final[edit]

I've made a couple more edits today, see what you think. I'll see what else I can find out. Cheers. --Jameboy (talk) 20:14, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bob Glendenning[edit]

Hi. Yes, it appears "Bob Glendenning" is the more common and preferred spelling, so it'd be great if you can merge the material of the two articles. Thanks! Chanheigeorge (talk) 22:53, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice[edit]

Hi,

As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.

We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.

You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.

We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
