Vandalism of Friends articles by User:MKember19[edit]

Hi. I saw your note about editing living persons' articles on MKember19's Talk Page. As a follow-up to that: this user has vandalized the articles of cast and producers of Friends. I have reverted all of them that he/she has done under that username. He/she should probably be blocked from further editing. Thanks. --Jeremy Butler (talk) 12:01, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. As they've stopped since their last edit, however, it's probably worth giving them a final warning (probably a 4im) before reporting them to AIV. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 15:44, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lloyd banks[edit]

Hello, I noticed you had an issue with my Lloyd Banks edit. The reason why I just put New York City is because Wikipedia accounts remove the borough and neighborhoods of New York City when it talks about a person's birthplace. If a person is born in Manhattan, New York, wikipedia just puts New York City, U.S. I don't mind if "Queens, New York City, New York" stays but I just wish Wikipedia accounts would just go with one thing and stick with it. Either all boroughs and neighborhoods be included when talking about New York City, or none of them are and it just stays New York City. DO NOT ADD QUEENS, NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK. JUST LEAVE IT AS NEW YORK CITY, U.S. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WPUNJ (talkcontribs) 18:03, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Why did you undo my old former revision of Human Mating Strategies? The man holding the woman is agecist. And is not gender neutral. And there is not a man holding a man. Makes me wanna have a sex change operation. 216.145.84.248 (talk) 21:08, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I'm not sure which revision you're referring to. Are you able to provide a link? lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 05:42, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please either remove askthedoctor or we will edit 103.165.22.26 (talk) 04:43, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edits as they were (a) written in a non-neutral way (Wikipedia is not the place to ask people to stay away from a service, and must report controversies neutrally) and (b) lacked a reliable source- please look for sources such as news articles to back up claims of fraud. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 04:48, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The portland riots[edit]

I believe that you made a huge mistake the views on what I edited was not to be bias but merely tell the truth over the bias media outlets making the riots seem not the bad — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.193.144.183 (talk) 09:37, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but on Wikipedia, we report on all events in a neutral manner, based on what is reported in reliable sources. We cannot include your opinions on the matter unless they have been reported on certain news outlets (which count as reliable sources), and please read WP:NPOV to understand how we write about any subject. Shaolin and Wu-Tang[edit]

Hello. I believe you have made a mistake, but I take partial responsibility. I had copied and pasted an obsolete citation when editing an [| article], though you can see that it is the same exact citation I have used above. If you could restore the two sections in that article I created in my edit, that would be great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Can You Fly (talkcontribs) 06:52, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your explanation. You are able to do this using the undo function - just go to the article's history. In the future, please provide an edit summary to describe why you removed content; see WP:ES. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 06:58, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lavender, Your edits are entirely biased and do not reflect a neutral stance at all. Trasks remarks consisted of unprofessional racist tirades against white people, and you come to her defense, particularly with your contemptuous emphasis of "people such as Laudan." The fact that you devoted an entire, irrelevant paragraph on this man's page to the legacy of this spiteful woman, when it has no relation to his philosophical work, shows your own bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.113.47.223 (talk) 06:02, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. That's not how Wikipedia works - we only report on what others have said and articles should not reflect the opinions of either side - hence why we do not refer to individuals as racists, but rather report on individuals and groups who have referred to the subject as such. Additionally, I didn't write the paragraph myself; this is the work of a number of editors. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 15:55, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was just wondering why the credible information that I just added about Darnell Mooney was removed. dude, taiwan is just a republic of china, so it's part of taiwan, if china dissolves then taiwan, hong kong and macau each will be a country, but since china still alive, it's a republic not a country CoolChib124 (talk) 08:16, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As is written in the article, Taiwan's status is contentious - which means that there is no universal acceptance of the ROC being part of the PRC (in spite of claims by the latter). This makes your changes to the article description inaccurate. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 15:03, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

neutrality[edit]

you reverted an edit in the name of neutrality, thus ironically making the article less neutral. The article in question "rape culture" is extremely biased and virtually all the sources cited come from radical feminists. If you truly cared about neutrality, you would not have reverted the edits in question. 185.117.148.115 (talk) 07:20, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You'll need to discuss this on the article's talk page. Just because most or all of the sources come from self proclaimed radical feminists does not imply that the concept itself is the invention of radical feminists. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 16:08, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

10 FEB 22: Hello HMSLavender: I see that you claim that Alliance International University is a bogus university. I graduated at this university with an LL.D. I had to file and defend a very demanding thesis. I know several others who had to work hard for their degree at AIU. Because of pages that contain incorrect information like yours, my degree is essentially being defamed. Could you please edit the page with accurate information? I did not write anything there - the edit that I reverted were the ones where you replaced a whole section with 'Gone' (this one)- feel free to take it up with Em-mustapha (talk · contribs) if you like, but IMO this testimony is not in line with our neutrality policy and, in any case, does not come with a reliable source. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 14:11, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ernie Nevers[edit]

Ernie had a son,(Gene Sullivan, he's in 4 museums) He was quite the athlete himself! Gene Sullivan found out Ernie was his father about 1+ yrs ago amazing similarities, it's an incredible story. If I give you the ANCESTERY.COM login/password, or send you a screen shot with the DNA information, CAN YOU LEAVE Gene Sullivan in there as his son? If you go to face book and look at CECI SULLIVAN, BILLINGS MT pictures, or do a FACEBOOK search for ERNIE NEVERS FAN CLUB, or go to INTSTAGRAM Ernie Nevers Fan Club you can SEE FOR YOURSELF, Gene looks just like Ernie, a lot, Even more so like Ernie Nevers Father George. THANK YOU, but if you want the evidence, you can have the ANCERSTERY LOG IN AND PASSWORD, his close relative, very close is Ernie's daughter Tina. regarding editing biography[edit]

Hi, I understand that I haven't cited articles but I am trying to edit my own personal page because that Wikipedia profile is about me and there is information that people do not know and I haven't spoken about in interviews which I wish to remove or edit. So I'm just trying to edit my own Wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.139.190.66 (talk) 06:06, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unreasonable Deletion[edit]

On the page talking about Jesus Christ, I told them truth and nothing but the truth. Jesus is the Messiah, you can only be saved through Christ Jesus. Wikipedia is supposed to have facts, and I told facts. You took off facts. You should be aware of that. On your profile, you put that you're Catholic. You should know that what I said was factual. What you did was an abuse of editing power, therefore I'd like an apology. 173.216.8.31 (talk) 14:43, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid Wikipedia is not the place to evangelise. Our articles must represent a variety of views, including ones that do not express a belief in the salvation of mankind through Christ. You might find this essay useful as a primer to our neutral point of view guidelines. Pax, lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 17:56, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
