February 2020[edit]

What have I done that you consider vandalism? I am adding only true things. All of these things I add are based on what other Wikipedia pages say. I added countries to shows and films based on the countries their production companies are from, pages that had the same categories added to them and what nationalities the voice actors are. I add "independent films" based on if films from said companies are in the independent category or if they are animated by studios on the See Also section of Independent Animation, so why don't you let me add said information, restore all information I added that you deleted and not get mad? Not all of your edits are incorrect, but enough of them are that your editing is disruptive, if not all the way into vandalism. Choosing a character's nationality on the basis of the voice actor's, though, is right out. Calling crickets people is also incorrect. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 04:01, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

OK. However, all the TV shows I said were Irish count because they were animated by Irish companie (Boulder and Brown Bag), and other shows animated by them are allowed in that category, so the ones I added should be allowed to stay.

Also, the princesses I added nationalities to are based on the author, and the types of buildings that are used in the movies. Aurora and Cinderella are French, especially Cinderella, where everybody clearly is French, so those are true. I said Kim Possible and Midge are of Irish descent because they look Irish. I said Sabrina Spellman was from England in Filmation's version because she spoke with an English accent. Rapunzel is clearly German. Everyone has a Germanic name, they wear German clothing, it's based on a Grimm story. Rapunzel is not ambiguous just because they never say "Germany" or because they call the country "Corona". P.S. Where is the proof that Sabrina is of Irish descent, anyways? I never saw anything that said she was of Irish descent. P.S.S. The French is the native language of the show, so it's not a dub. Dubs are in languages that are not the native language of a work. Iamcool34234 (talk) 11:17, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Making your own determination not backed up with reliable sources is prohibited original research. For works of fiction the nationality is whatever fictional country the story takes place in with may or may not be a real country. Geraldo Perez (talk) 04:31, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please provide reliable sources to the controversy section of Monster High: The Movie. Social media websites such as Twitter, Tumblr, and Reddit are considered primary sources and user-generated content, and are therefore to be avoided—especially posts by random users without any professional credentials, like the ones you added to the section. If the information you wish to add has not received significant coverage in reliable, third-party sources, then it should and will be removed. Also, please be civil and avoid shouting in your edit summaries, as you did here and here. Thank you. snapsnap (talk) 06:18, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
