Hi- Charles Kuehn was mentioned in A History of Manitowoc County published in 1904. He served in the Wisconsin Assembly and as Wisconsin State Treasurer. Therefore, he is notable. Thank you-RFD (talk) 01:35, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because its username is a blatant violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. T. Request reason:

I have done absolutely nothing wrong. I'm sorry if you think my username is somehow offensive, but why judge a book by its cover? Block me if I do somehthing wrong. But until then, let me edit freely. Jack Merridrew 02:56, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

There is already a well known account with the name Jack Merridew, since your username is far too close to be a coincidence you're either an impersonator, which is not allowed, or a sockpuppet, which is also not allowed Jac16888 Talk 03:03, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know I don't actually have that name in real life? Jack Merridrew 03:05, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is my REAL name. Why should I have to change just because someone else already has a SIMILAR (not the same) username.

Decline reason:

Highly unlikely explanation. This account shows a precocious understanding of Wikipedia operations, it seems very unlikely that this was your first account, and seems very likely you are messing with us. Jayron32 05:04, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This IS my real name. I know you can check if I had another account, so do it before ASSUMING that this isn't my first.Jack Merridrew 9:07 pm, Today (UTC−8)

Since this isn't getting anywhere, I'm locking down your talk page. Please direct further inquiries to the BASC at arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org. Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 05:20, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to know an awful lot about deletion processes, tagging, WP policies, and changing your default signature for a newcomer. –MuZemike 05:17, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the above claim, any future admin reviewing this will find this enlightening. --Jayron32 05:19, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
