Hello!
On Wikimedia Commons there is an ongoing deletion request for an old map you uploaded there in February of 2005, supposedly "made by Jacob Rus". There are people who think it could be copied from an undeclared source and not "made by Jacob Rus". They want to remove it from the project if there is no proof where the image is from and who is the copyright owner.
The map is extremely widely used all over Wikipedia. For many years it was considered a free map of Mexico and used for many purposes. If they kill the file, hundreds or thousands of other files based on this map can be deleted as well. Perhaps you remember the upload and can tell us something helpful about it, would be great, thank you very much.--Jordi (talk) 22:56, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
