Slight misunderstanding[edit]

I know that your article was not intended to be humorous, or 'funny'. That was a poor choice of words on my part, and I apologize for any misunderstanding which may have resulted.

Here is what I said in my deletion rationale:

""developed by Jitesh Dundas and David Chik in Oct 2010, published in a journal in Nov 2010", and Wikipedia article created by "Jbdundas" => such a conflict of interest it's not funny. Impossible to properly assess notability at this point. Sorry."

This article was a major conflict of interest on your part. You are so closely and innately linked to IBSEAD that it is impossible for you to objectively assess the notability.

Furthermore, because of how recent your published article on IBSEAD is, it is impossible for anyone to judge its notability at this point. Hundreds of new concepts and ideas are published in scholarly journals every week, and Wikipedia does not list them all. We must wait to see what happens: will other researchers adopt IBSEAD? Will this be a major breakthrough leading to fortunes being made? Or will this be just an additional line on the CVs of yourself and Dr. Chik? Nobody knows.

Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding and/or hurt feelings which may have resulted from my actions; however, I hope you understand that (aside from my sub-optimal wording) they were correct. DS (talk) 13:56, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
