Survey

Hi Kimmy!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

With headings in Wikipedia, you do not capitalize any words after the first word unless they are proper nouns.

Kimmy, don't be discouraged by the reverts. From what I can see, the reverts were mostly cosmetic, apart from the WP:POV section. I've gotten rid of that section for now because I think you're right. In the mean time, try to reason with other editors even if you get hostile responses. Or else you can always ask me for help.

Be WP:BOLD about making content-related revisions, as long as you have sources and citations. I'll help with minor changes to section headings and tags should the need arise. It'll also be good if you added an edit summary every time you click "Save page" to give other editors a heads up on the changes you made. Kimmy, I hope you didn't take my comments the wrong way. I just wanted you to read up first on how to dot the "t's" and cross the "i's" when making changes. Things work better when other contributors know what are you doing, and you are doing them in such a way that is collaborative. If you keep working on this article I hope that you will find an inline source citation for at least each paragraph. Avoid the water hazards. > Best O Fortuna (talk) 05:25, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
