To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.

The lead or lede is the first part of an article's text, if it's a longer article, and briefly describes the impoirtant points detailed in the text below. I don't see the neccessity in that particular case. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 03:31, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt[edit]

Just a quick thank-you from me for expressing your views over at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt. While I understand the desire to increase diversity on Wikipedia, there are plenty of pages just waiting to be written on women who have made a contribution through their own efforts. Regarding Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt in particular, your translation there is very good! The good news is that with Internations Women's day we're seeing lots of new pages written about women, in part through the great efforts of Women in Red!
