Dear brother, Please read more about Edessa in Wikipedia and Catholic encyclopedia. Also East Syrian Bishop was ordained by Serapion of Antioch in AD200. Liturgy of Addai and Mari (East Syrian liturgy) was formed only in 3rd century. Thanks
