Tagging[edit]

As an editor with 16 years experience, the tagging is acceptable. Otherwise I would/could have removed uncited statements as per WP:BURDEN. Please remember you do not WP:OWN the article. LibStar (talk) 00:07, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. No one here has made any assertion of ownership. I have simply stated a factual evidence to characterise the nature of my observation, namely that I am eagerly trying to improve the page of my home city, therefore your reminder of WP:OWN is, at best, superfluous.
As for your long presence on this website, it does not entitle you to any unwarranted credit. Please note that appealing to your venerable stay on the platform as justification for your actions is ab auctoritate. You deeming the tagging acceptable is a personal consideration, one which I might, as previously stated, agree with, but your sententious and frankly uncordial tone makes it seem more like a diktat, which no one is entitled to make. I suggest you try expressing yourself in a more cordial manner, as I have tried to do, and to be more respectful in interpersonal communications. If you are so inclined as to remove any statements not YET properly marked, please go ahead, I will proceed with restoration once I find the appropriate citations, as I have been doing all along. Might I also remind you that finding citations for statements written by others is, in my experience and in all sincerity, a more herculean task than finding citations ex novo.
