Some editing suggestions to consider for the article Ethnographic film:

More citations and references are required to make the article more reliable.
Aspects in the second paragraph of the lead in can be incorporated into the "Origins" section, such as the information on Gregory Bateson, Robert Gardner and Karl Heider.
To improve the organization of the article, you can use more headings and subheadings. For example, creating headings/subheadings for the early developments of ethnographic film, when ethnographic film became well known, later/modern uses, etc.
Using some of the information already in the article, you could potentially create a section devoted to major contributors to ethnographic film and discuss their contributions (a good place to use references).
