Władysław Łukasiuk

Hi, I'm the one who started the above article. It's pretty new so citations are sparse - it's mostly a translation from Polish wikipedia. The Pietrzak reference I added is pretty exhaustive although it doesn't have much on early life of the guy. The other ref which I just added has a lot less. I have not been able to find any English language sources (and believe me, I've looked) - however, both the Polish language sources are reliable.radek (talk) 16:34, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Dating tags

I noticed you have been doing some of these. As you may know SmackBot dates many of these every day. However there are always some it can't get out of the undated categories - for various reasons including subst'ing of templates, really bad attempts to use some kind of date template within the template, addition of categories manually etc. Keeping up with these exceptions is a good way to improve the bot, but I often fall behind. If I set up a list of current problem pages would you be interested in looking at some of them? Rich Farmbrough, 17:36, 3 August 2009 (UTC).

Yes it changes Date, dAte, fate, and a whole bunch of things. It also does some reasonably thorough spelling corrections for some months, and less thorough for others, takes out month-day numbers, makes 09 and 009 into 2009, and in most cases bulldozes the remaining date= XXXX stuff if it won't parse as month year into the current month year. I will drop a note when I put the list up. Rich Farmbrough, 18:15, 3 August 2009 (UTC).
List is here. Thanks. Rich Farmbrough, 20:14, 3 August 2009 (UTC).

Evolution Champoinship Series

Yeah, I've been a little busy myself lately. As far as a 'reliable' source goes, I fear that I am out of luck. The Washington Post or similar periodicals wouldn't run a story on this type of event, and I'm unsure where to proceed. I guess that this may end up being one of the articles that 'isn't noteworthy enough' for wikipedia. Wrestlemania is basically the same thing, but for professional wrestling, and most of the 'sources' are from the wwe website, but there's no problem having an article about that, *sigh*. Maybe one day EVO will grow, and I'll update my article as best I can, but until then I think I'm out of luck. Thanks for looking at it though! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeremybox (talkcontribs) 14:50, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Naxalbari National Heritage Academy

Thanks for your work on and your comments on Naxalbari National Heritage Academy. I didn't realize that it was an actual school until I read the academy's official site, which refers to it only as National Heritage Academy. Removal of PROD from Aerotech Alloys

Hello Phantomsteve, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Aerotech Alloys has been removed. Potential advice for people who think they should start their experience at Wikipedia by creating a new article

I have nominated Manish Pitambare, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manish Pitambare. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

The article now includes references that document the vandalism as well as rewriting or deleting where I couldn't quickly find a reference. As a former traveller on that rail line I can certainly remember the times the station showed signs of fresh vandalism (often scorch marks) or the time the train I was in was hit by a stone thown by a vandal (anecdotal evidence suggests this is common). However, none of that satisifies WP:RS Hopefully the recent edits will remove the NPOV problems. Autarch (talk) 17:36, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for finding references - I have removed the "unref" tag. I have also removed the NPOV tag, even though I didn't put it on the article (I only dated it to August, as the problem hadn't been solved from what I could see). normally I would suggest that you ask the person who originally put the NPOV tag to look at the articlem but as this was an IP address rather than a registered user, I am taking the decision myself to remove the tag. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 20:41, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Figuring out how to execute a task on Wikipedia can be remarkably confusing. The content in which something is presented is not always clear. The method by which one might respond is unclear as a result. So, thank you for this note. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kernel.package (talkcontribs) 01:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Unusual editor request?

Hi Phantomsteve,

We've had only a few exchanges, but it's clear that you are an authoritative editor to be trusted. For this reason I would like to propose a rather unconventional opportunity, which, given its last minute nature, you may not be likely to be interested in, let alone respond to - but hey, I'm going to give it a shot anyway.

Long story short: as previously introduced, I'm a PR consultant for Burson-Marsteller - a rather large global PR consultancy - and was recently charged with the task of developing the digital capabilities for our Singapore office. Tomorrow, I'm going to be giving an introductory, lunch-hour session on the nature of Wikipedia, the do's and don't's and everything else I've determined as critical information that my colleagues should be aware of IF and when a client say's to them "I want to have a Wikipedia article, can you advise".

On that note, I'm wondering if you would be AT ALL interested in taking 10-15 min out of you day to join our very casual introductory session and answer any of our outstanding questions...concerns etc. You'd be most welcome to listen in on the whole thing of course...which will approximately run for about 45 min. If you chose to do so, I, the moderator would welcome you jumping in at any given time to contribute, contest, applaud...whatever you felt appropriate.

I'm in Singapore which is GMT+7 meaning that as I write this it's 8:30 pm on THURSDAY. If you are anywhere in the US...let's say New York, it's would be exactly 8:30 am THURSDAY MORNING for example. SO, yes, there's a big time diff., and I would be giving this session at 12pm Friday my time...whatever that translates into in your time, it's likely going to be evening on Wednesday.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I would very very much welcome senior input such as yours if you at all interested.

I would propose that we do this via Skype...but there doesn't have to be any image on your end if you're not keen. Of course, we'd have our camera open so you could see us :)

My name again, is Tanya van Soest and I'm found under *********** on skype...here of course...or via ***************@********* should you wish to converse off Wikipedia.

In the event that you cannot, or do not want to have anything to do with this, and you think you may know of another editor who might be interested, I'd welcome the suggestion.

Thank you in advance, for at the very least, consideration of this request.

P.S Would like a talkback response please.

Tanyavansoest (talk) 12:48, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for thinking of me, but I will have to decline the kind invitation!
I hope that I am building up a reputation of being trustworthy (I always try to do what is right on Wikipedia, even if I do sometimes make mistakes!). However, I'm not sure about the authoratitive bit!
Can I just point out one thing that you should mention in your presentation... the problems with conflict of interest, and the impact this has on making it difficult to maintain a neutral point of view (see Wikipedia's notes on Conflict of Interest and Wikipedia's notes on Neutral Point of View). You might also want to mention that articles need to be about something/someone notable - see Wikipedia's Guide to Notability. Finally, mention that if they feel that they cannot write a suitable article (because of conflict of interest), they can always place a Request for an Article to be created.
I hope it goes well, and again, thanks for thinking of me! (By the way, Ive removed your contact details - even though this is a user page, it is still visible across the whole world!) -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 15:19, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Phantomsteve,

When I did a search for copywright ownership, the Cambridge House logo doesn't actually have one. Does this make the image a free one? In which case I am afraid I am not sure how to proceed! Nkannas (talk) 14:12, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

links?

hello! (many apologies in advance for my lack of capitalisation; the best shift key on my keyboard is broken.) so, i'm a new wikipedian (and i want to sincerely contribute as best i can), although i am not completely stupid when it comes to editing. today, i noticed that the "Dan Brown (YouTube)" article was messed up in a certain area. a chart on the page that should contain 25 links was all disjointed and the text format was such that it didn't form a chart at all. i know quite a lot about what needs to go in the chart, so i decided to fix it. i learned how to construct a chart and set to tidying the article up.

to cut a long story short: when i edited in the 25 necessary links to Dan Brown's youtube videos (which is the whole purpose of the chart in the first place), i got a message saying that, due to so many external links, my changes had been removed, because i could be a spammer or something - which i completely understand is a safety precaution. but it wasn't just my links that got removed, it was ALL my past changes that disappeared - even ones that were just grammatical improvements and updates.

needless to say, i was discontented. not angry at all, but a bit thrown-off course. i don't want to tarnish my potential to be a good editor; i want to be mildly confident when editing articles, and i don't want to shy away from editing, however this has really put me off quite a lot. every time i get a future message, i don't want to be worried that i've done something wrong. the last thing i want is to ruin wikipedia or break the rules!

but anyway, i really thought that the links would not get removed - there are many other links to Dan's videos that are in his article, and this was my first time putting links into an article. i have read and examined the 'external links guidelines' and i believe that my links conform to wikipedia's policies - they don't link to malware, they don't break copyright, they don't advertise etc. but all the same, they got (automatically) removed. i don't want to just re-edit the links onto the page, because they might get removed again. i want to make sure that my edit will be legitimate. basically, i wonder, should i edit my links back in? or should i just leave it and hope someone else tidies up the page?

i hope i haven't confused you, i do tend to oversimplify often. thank you for your time! Katabee (talk) 18:41, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Katabee, thanks for contacting me. I have seen your message, but I've quickly logged into wikipedia to check messages etc, but I don't actually have time to look at your changes (and XlinkBot's reversion) - but I will have a look tomorrow when I get a chance! I thought I'd leave a message so that you don't think I'm ignoring your message! Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 21:10, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Having seen the message from XlinkBot on your talk page when I left the talkback, I see that the bot has explained it well... those links that you changed/removed are protected. May I suggest that you leave a message on the article's talk page (here) explaining what you intend on doing - and don't be discouraged! I'll look at this more thoroughly tomorrow, as mentioned above. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 21:14, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

logo 2

Hi again,

I did contact them and they were very happy for me to use the logo, and to modify it etc. so they will definitely say yes. As for other images, they are keen to do that too and they said they would send me some. So I will have a go with that, thanks for the help- I was just a bit unsure about how to fill in the upload form as I have not done it before.

Thanks again Nkannas (talk) 09:23, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

As soon as I hear from them (I have sent them the declaration they need to use to meet Wikipedia's licensing), I'll sort that out! As you can appreciate, for legal reasons, we have to have that permission - a simple "Yes, you can use the logo" isn't enough, hence my question!
For future images that they may send to you (if they do not follow the template I sent them to give permission), let me know, and I'll give you step by step instructions on how to obtain official permission to use their image(s), and how to notify the WikiMedia Foundation of this permission. Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 10:43, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I didn't realise there was a form. I will definitely contact you should they send me any more photos.
Many thanks again Nkannas (talk) 11:45, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Help with my new created page, ETC;

Uh, what's the problem? I wanted to create a new page for myself, started hooking it up, confirmed my email address, but the thing is, I didn't understand some of the user/creator setting's, to make this the way I want it. Like no number's by or instead of my link's. I wanted a different background skin, other stuff as well. It's great having all the many feature's, but it's overly confusing to many, when all the info should be (untop new page, misc creator's) simplified. Can I do this, with help from the tech support, misc or not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffreydavidmorris (talkcontribs) 12:13, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

where have you looked for information on Wasfi al-Atassi that you say there are no non-wiki sources? I do not want to duplicate your work DGG ( talk ) 01:27, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

just as you say, the material will need to be found with other approaches than Google. I consider it unproductive to nominate for deletion articles whose check will require resources you do not have immediately available. What you are essentially doing is forcing others to work on the subjects you want them to--and least, forcing them to do it if they care about information in the encyclopedia for material older than 2000. You could very readily destroy tens of thousands of articles with this tactic. As you live in the UK, indeed in London, you have decent print libraries available, and you ought to use them yourself. Otherwise it puts an undue burden on those who are willing to do so. DGG ( talk ) 13:57, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
I have no knowledge in this area - it is really the area for someone with knowledge and expertise in the area. To be honest, I wouldn't even know where to start looking for the information - I live on the outer part of "Greater London", and do not have ready access to the libraries where this material may be, even assuming that it's available and written in English!
I am not forcing anyone to work on any subjects. I am merely putting this up as a nomination for deletion as it does not appear to follow the notability guidelines. Using the argument "There will be information somewhere" isn't really adequate in my opinion - using that argument, most articles would not be deleted!
There is no mention of him on the article on Syria or History of Syria - the only mention of anyone with that family name is Hashim al-Atassi (his cousin). In the article Atassi, the only mention is that he was member of the 15-membered Ruling Council of the Tri-State Union. If he was as important as that, I would expect some mention on the History of Syria article. The photograph caption mentions the souryah al-Fatat - but no other article mentions this body.
I do not nominate articles for deletion just for the hell of it - I do check for sources that are readily available to me - without a trek into Central London, it is tricky without using the internet, but for prominent and important people (read: notable), I would expect there to be something online, even if it was just a couple of sentences... but all the references I could find were wiki articles from here. I also check through wikipedia for associated subjects, looking for a mention.
However, I am adding the article to Wikiprojects Arab World and Syria, and will be leaving messages asking their members to look at the article and provide references - there will be experts amongst them. Regards -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 15:13, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Just want to mention that you should not expect articles in Wikipedia to mention everything that they should, especially general articles on countries--that's not a safe criterion. (In fact, when something dubious is there, it's worth while seeing when it was added--people have been known to dadd their non-notable person's name to general articles atthe same time they write the bio. ) I appreciate your interest in getting things like this right. "Quinceanera film" suppressions : thanks from Arapaima for your answer

Hello PhantomSteve, thanks for your answer. As you say , the discussion page of the article has no trace of "Shiver of recognition"'s explanations. I don't think it is worth it to write to "Shiver...", since his personal page and discussion page are empty : it looks like he appeared on 2009, January 8th, during the night, in the middle of a dog-fight over the article "Bacon", and did'nt show up until now.... I know the film deals with a lot of social important topics : American-Mexican people in USA, unwed teen pregnancy, immigration, homosexuality, competition for housing, culture clash etc...etc..., but it is what makes the film interesting, and I think I wrote with neutrality about these issues, and after viewing 3 times the movie. As I said, I know and love the latino culture - and about homosexuality, I have several gay people among my friends, and am fully tolerant about their way of life. For me "Shiver"s reverts are only of the vandalistic type. How could I make the article come back to its former version ? . Thanks for your answer ( I understand I have to come back to your page to read it, which looks normal to me). Bye-bye, Arapaima (talk) 15:26, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Arapaima. Well, assuming that no other changes have been made, just undo the vandalism (in case you don't know - but I'm guessing that you do - here is how: click on the "history" tab at the top of the page, click on the "undo" option next to Shiver's alteration, change the default edit summary to something more useful. It might be an idea, in any case, to leave a message on the article's discussion page, explaining what you have done and why. That way, if Shiver keeps changing it, you can apply for protection on the page - and admins can see what you did and why. I would also leave a message on Shiver's talk page (create it if necessary) and explain there as well. If you have any questions, just let me know! -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 16:02, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi PhantomSteve, thank you for your kind & quick answer. Well, in fact, during the last 2 years, my travels on WP:en (as well as WP:fr, from where I originate, and on Wp:es, where there seem to be only caballeros) have been fully amicable, and I never had to undo somebody's work. A year ago, on WP:en, when I tried to state that the first "legal" settlers of the Falkland Islands were actually the French under Bougainville, I choose to retreat rather than to begin another Falkland war (and against a barn-stared writer at that...) so I hope I'll not blunder in my restauration attempts. Thanks a lot for your advice. PS : Do you speak German correctly  ? I recently added some lines to "Eduard Seler" (1900 german pioneer of studies on the Aztecs), mainly to underline that his wife Cäcilie was of great help to him, in their study as well as on the field, but I think I made an error while quoting the 2009 documentary film by Saskia Wishkeit : is the correct title "Der geheimlich codex den Aztecs" (The secret code of the Aztecs) ? Here nobody speaks fluent german, so I can't check. Thanks again Arapaima (talk) 15:49, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

ADAM Inc

Hi Phantomsteve. I have updated the A.D.A.M., Inc. wikipedia entry to include citations where I could, and deleted additional text that may have been construed as advertising. It is very important to have an up-to-date and complete Wikipedia entry, as (as you know) the Wikipedia entry shows up on the first page of the search results. Please could you let me know if the edits I have made are not sufficient and if more are required? It is my understanding that wikipedia authors and editors have worked to keep the articles factual by editing, and therefore I do not want to create a situation where the entire article needs to be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ericarenzo (talkcontribs) 18:56, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Ericarenzo.
Yes, you are right - the aim is to improve articles, not delete them. If you look at my history, there are quite a few articles that I have found sources of information for - even if I knew almost nothing about the subject!
I have just quickly logged onto wikipedia to check a couple of things, and have to go in a couple of mins, so I'll have a look at the article when I get a chance - but that might not be until next Monday, OK? I just thought I'd reply so you know I'm not ignoring you! Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 21:54, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks so much. I just checked and the entry is now completely gone! Can you let me know how I can find out who removed it? I really appreciate your help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ericarenzo (talkcontribs) 17:15, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Use of word "wiki"

I notice you posting on the help desk often, and you're very helpful. However, I just need to point out that this site is called Wikipedia, not wiki. A wiki is any website using wiki software; there are thousands of them. I just want to make sure that no newbs are confused. You can abbreviate it as WP if you don't want to type the whole word (I usually do that, as I'm pretty lazy). For more information, check out WP:Don't abbreviate Wikipedia as Wiki. Have a good day, and keep it up with the great advice! hmwitht 14:34, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing this out - I must admit it is pure laziness on my part! In future, I'll either use Wikipedia or WP! I was aware that wiki is the software rather than the site, but newbs may not, so I need to remember that! Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 14:43, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Chinmay26r! What you need for the citations is to read the guidelines about reliable sources, find some reliable sources with information about the school, and mention them in the article. For information about how to cite them, see citations. Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 16:20, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

so can i change it bak 2 camp? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chinmay26r (talkcontribs) 16:29, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

I would suggest that you change it to Pune Camp rather than Camp. I'm in England, so I just went by the Google Maps result! I had a quick check elsewhere online - like Yahoo! India - and "Pune Camp" would seem to be the best suggestion. Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 16:45, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

k thnx wud u mind chekin if the citation given is correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chinmay26r (talkcontribs) 16:50, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

That was a good attempt - but instead of you need to use<ref> - and at the "References" item, you use <references/> instead of redoing the citation! I have corrected it, and also added the official school website - along with Google's warning that it may put malware onto your computer. Just a note, the coords for these articles mainly come directly or indirectly fro a US gov source, and are often only accurate to within 1 minute - about a mile depending where you are. Rich Farmbrough, 23:53, 25 August 2009 (UTC).

Yes by all means nominate the article. If you want more eyes on it, is there a WikiProject that might help? Wikiedia:WikiProject Hi-Fi or something ? I notice A&R Cambridge Ltd (ARCAM) is unreferenced too but Linn Products has a few. They might provide some hints. Rich Farmbrough, 23:53, 25 August 2009 (UTC).

Of course, you must use the one parameter included, i.e., {{User:Phantomsteve/afd-notice|name of article at AFD}}. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:08, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, Fuhghettaboutit. I'm in the middle of something at the moment, and will be going to bed soon, so I'll look at it tomorrow! Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 00:16, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:18, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for trying, mate, but when I tried it, and then click on "edit", it still popped up my template to edit! I've re-inserted the check for it being substd'd. Again, thank you for trying. As I do previews about 99% of the time, I'll catch it before saving if I don't subst - and if not, I'll notice immediately after saving, and can subst it after! -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 07:03, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Phantomsteve,

I am having a hell of a time creating a page for Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine. I'm not attempting to promote it just state the facts about what it is, what it does, address etc, etc. Initially I used the Wooridul Spine Hospital as an example to follow but was quickly red flagged and blocked for lack of citation. I'm not wanting to get anyone in trouble but the Wooridul article does not have a single reference, which is why mine was lacking. I understand my mishap however unintentional it may have been.

In learning my errors, I gathered numerous online sources to verify information, but am struggling to upload a thumbnail photo, for example for I am unsure of the liscensing of the photo, even though I am permitted to use it by the chairman of the Hospital. I am also struggling to understand how to put in cited references and footnotes. I don't understand the codes. I have been looking at the Mount Sinai Hospital Site as an example now. I am a beginner at using Wikipedia for these purposes, so any constructive help would be greatly appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bhowsie (talkcontribs) 06:33, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. There are a couple of points I want to quickly make:
  1. The hopsital already has an article - it was created on 24 August by User:Jasenghospital
  2. You are quite right about Wooridul not having any references - I'll look at that later when I get a chance! However, the Jaseng Articles has got a couple of references now! To add your own citations, don't worry too much about using complicated formats - after the fact your reference is about, just add <ref>your reference details</ref>. Someone else will format it more thoroughly! For example, if your references was on a web page, <ref>http://the.website.com/page.html</ref>; if it was in a book: <ref>"This is a title" by Alfred B. Charlie (published 1919 by Lemotif Books, London) - page 16</ref> or in a newspaper: <ref>"School founder's memorial service" by A. Journalist (Croydon Advertiser, 26 August 26, page 11)</ref>. If you had items like that, it would be relatively easy for another editor to tidy up the citation!
  3. To be able to use a photograph which is copyright to someone else, we need proof that they have given permission to use it on Wikipedia. If you see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials or Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Alternatively, if you live close enough to the hospital to be able to take your own photograph, you can upload that and use that - that wouldn't be copyrighted to someone else as it's your own work!
I hope this helps. I have left a welcome message on your talk page with some useful links to guidelines on Wikipedia. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask! Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 08:17, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi again,

Please let me know how to correct my thumbnail situation.

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jaseng_Hospital_of_Oriental_Medicine.jpg

It says I didn't use licensing(???)and the image will be deleted in 7 days.

The picture is from Jaseng website, with permission of the organization —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bhowsie (talkcontribs) 08:59, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm afraid that we need proof of the permission! Although it is a simple photograph that looks the same as if you had taken it yourself, as it is from a website it is covered by copyright. Please read Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission on how to receive permission from the website so that we can use the image. Alternatively, if you could take a photograph yourself (and please don't just re-upload that photo and say you took it yourself!) then that could be uploaded to commons as your own work. Contact me if you have any questions -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 09:24, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Help! Where is my page.

I have edited my page igxe in wikipedia. But when I tried to search igxe or igxe wikipedia on google, nothing showed up. What's wrong? My page hasn't been deleted. Help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vicki001 (talkcontribs) 09:55, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Vicki - the page is actually on Wikipedia here: Igxe. It takes a bit of time to show on the search facility on wikipedia, and Google takes a little bit longer to index it too! If you have any more questions, just contact me! -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 10:01, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi

Hi Steve!! Thanks for your welcome message. Are you an admin here? BigKing197cm (talk) 12:36, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

No, NigKing197cm, I am not an administrator, I am just a normal editor like the majority of users! Sometimes I notice someone who created/added to an article who hasn't been welcomed, so just give them a welcome! I should do it more often, but time can be limited! Anyway, enjoy your time on Wikipedia, and contact me should you have any questions. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 19:02, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
