Please use the edit-sumary field![edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. kalaha 12:15, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

League Results[edit]

I see you did up the table for the results in the 06/07 Premiership.

I did up a fairly comprehensive table up for Serie A which is being used for this year and for previous years if you want to take a look.

A few differences.

1. The XXX section for where clubs can't play each other is now a blue square. 2. The club names at the top are read from top to bottom to make each square in the table equal.

if you want to use it, I have a blank copy kept on my home page.

Please not that the grid doesn't show up on my homepage, but will show up on the pages it is used on.

Thanks

Wikiproject:Italian Football[edit]

Hi ya. I see you add to Italian Football articles from time to time. Just wondering if you want to check out Wikipedia:Italian Football. We are just hoping to organise our efforts towards improving articles better. If you want to sign up just put your name down under participants on the project. You can do as much or as little work as you like and any ideas on improving pages would be great. Niall123 19:20, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Munich[edit]

Would you be interested in helping out atWikiProject Munich? And you don't have to know anything about Munich. Maybe you could help out on bringing Munich-related articles up to Wikipedia Policies and guidlines standards or maybe another area where you could help improve Munich-related articles. Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Football League Championship results September 2006, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Football League Championship results September 2006. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi I've started a discussion regarding this template you contributed to here.[1] Georgeg 20:28, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see from the discussion above your original intentions on the template. If you want to start adding cup competitions you might want to add them to this new (and more relevant) template. StephP 17:52, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I noticed from the list of participants at WP:FOOTY that you are a Manchester United fan. A task force has been set up to help improve articles related to Manchester United, and we are looking for participants to help with the effort. If you would be interested, please add your name to the list at the task force's page. Thanks. – PeeJay 10:18, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
