September 2008[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Toddst1 (talk) 17:59, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting actions performed by banned users[edit]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Corroboration of puppetry

Note from blocking admin[edit]

You realise that the IP 63.216.123.141 (talk · contribs) is not in the RFCU. I'll be glad to unblock on 2 conditions:

  1. That you refrain from edit warring against unconfirmed IPSocks
  2. That you file an RFCU about that IP after unblocking.

Will you commit to doing this? Toddst1 (talk) 20:58, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  1. It has been confirmed already that the IP range 63.216.123.141 (talk · contribs) was used by banned user, User:Klaksonn. See Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Klaksonn and look at the listed IP numbers, under the sock name, and you'll see 63.216.121.20 (talk · contribs) as 3rd and 63.216.119.41 (talk · contribs) as 9th. All Ips are in same location. see http://samspade.org/whois/63.216.123.141 and http://samspade.org/whois/63.216.121.20 I'm not involved in edit-war against unconfirmed IPsocks because I'm aware that would only get me blocked. I will be happy to file a RFCU if you're still not convinced about all this.
  2. There is no edit-war on my side because I'm not labelling these people as Sunni. I'm just trying to explain to him/her that not every writings he/she sees online is reliable source for Wikipedia, some have errors in it and some are POVs only. There is no reason to allow this vandal behind these IPs to edit these Wikipedia articles. To prevent him from coming back please protect some of the pages.--Seminoletree (talk) 00:01, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The sock connection pretty obvious to myself as well. I support unblocking. -- Ned Scott 20:26, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Ned. I appreciate the input. Toddst1 (talk) 21:10, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He's back[edit]

Klaksonn is back with a different IP [1]. WWGB (talk) 14:46, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And gone. Toddst1 (talk) 00:25, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
