Did you get the P6 microcode keys?

That's Peter's patchtools_pub. That should be in the article. Also we now have that 0x0F 0x0E instruction, it should be also added with the link to wikipedia's x86 instruction listings. 109.252.90.66 (talk) 14:39, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

The, P6/PII/PIII-era keys are now deducible—but that would probably fall under Original Research without a third-party paper to cite;… Ditto for the uarch/Atom instructions in 3DNow! opcode space: needs something published to cite. —Sladen (talk) 20:05, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
There is something at least for 3DNOW, not RS, but very detailed: https://blog.can.ac/2021/03/22/speculating-x86-64-isa-with-one-weird-trick/ As for keys, no need for RS. Code itself is generally recognized as RS, even in politics part of Wikipedia. And here we even have a parser of the RC4 decrypted microcode (descramble AND disassembler, p6tools). We also have first bytes of those 4 byte keys (that is 0x30 0x3A 0x3B 0x17 0x33 0x2E, for 6 keys), which means they should be crackable very fast. The ucode blobs are also available... You can just #define those https://github.com/peterbjornx/patchtools_pub/blob/04bf44e6a3c6f9856c410d6b1f90bbbdba604acf/cpukeys.c#L10 and it will be enough to validate. 109.252.90.66 (talk) 08:14, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
With a bit of optimisation the keys can be obtainable in real-time… (Had not noticed the left-hand side of that screenshot, thank you, and that is a good confirmation/sanity check for those interested in brute-forcing, reduces the search space still further from 32-bits (actually 30-bits) down to 24-bits). Remember: not everyone publishes everything they know—and there are ways and means of being discrete about it. The crypto may be technically sucky, but it was very effective in practice: lasting 25 years! —Sladen (talk) 15:44, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
So, do you have the keys? I will need to parse layout of scrambled ucode to get plaintext to even start bruteforce. I see you forked it, you know... Peter is now in Intel, so alas. BTW, do you know whether I can use that https://twitter.com/_Dmit/status/1318622847351332864 as plaintext? Of course I do have that nice zip with some ucodes. And one another... Also every key will need its own ucode family. 109.252.90.66 (talk) 21:37, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
