Ali Sina[edit]

Nothing happened to Ali Sina's page, what are you talking about? You may delete this message after you see it. Which sections were lost? I reorganized that page, nothing else. Check it carefully. --Matt57 10:59, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If there are any facts deleted from Ali's page, you should put them in there. Nowadays I'm monitoring this page so I'll make sure no one deletes it. Before you think the page is there to advertise Ali Sina, remember that this page IS about Ali Sina so you'll find lots of 'advertisement' in that page about him. This is true for any biography. I look forward to your contributions there. There is almost no content in the criticism section. I think the problem is difficulty in finding notable people who have criticized Ali Sina. --Matt57 23:17, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He doesnt come out in open debate because of the fear of assasination (e.g Van Goh). I saw the criticism section with many points which were there long time ago but deleted. But the thing is this and they were rightly deleted: You cant link to his debates and say "he says stuff out of context". If you want to say he's out of context, you have to quote a known notable person who says that. It cant be your own judgement. Whatever changes you want to do, they must have good references and they must not be your own deductions. This is why its an encyclopedia, its not a collection of personal opinions, but rather facts. If you think e.g. the presentation was removed, you have to give proof for it etc. Basically its simple: You can put anything in there about Ali Sina, as long as its referenced and someone notable has said that.--Matt57 22:58, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whose e-mails has Ali Sina distorted on his webpage? You have to admit that Zakir Naik insists upon the presence of 10,000 people because he knows that Ali Sina would be a fool to consent to such a thing. Arrow740 08:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:University of Lahore Logo.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:University of Lahore Logo.jpeg, which you've sourced to http://www.uol.edu.pk/. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:38, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
