July 2023[edit]

I wonder why I was blocked. Which edit got banned because of me? Veryordinaryperson (talk) 17:44, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think it was unfair to me. I demand my ban be removed Veryordinaryperson (talk) 17:50, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I only use 1 account. I don't have another account Veryordinaryperson (talk) 18:07, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I request my IP address to be checked again. Veryordinaryperson (talk) 08:40, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My account must not banned. I didn't do anything outside the rules. I don't have multiple accounts like you said. I have only one account. Veryordinaryperson (talk) 19:10, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If someone blocks you as a sock based on Checkuser results, simply saying "I am not a sock" is insufficient. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:16, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I only have one account. I do not have another account. I want to look at the ip addresses. So that I'm known to be innocent .

This adds nothing to your prior, declined, unblock request. Yamla (talk) 10:22, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at my edits. I only made one edit, I didn't do anything wrong. I wrote my own opinion in the "talk" section on the "Qajar dynasty" page. I researched why I could be banned. I saw that the account named "KarlukTurco" made unnecessary and wrong edits on the "Qajar dynasty" page. In my opinion, the admin who banned me must have thought that my account named "KarlukTurco" is my account. However, it is not my account. Accounts like Rustam Nisandapuri/KarlukTurco/Zezar2) have nothing to do with me. I would be very happy if you look at the ip addresses. Thank you from now. Decline reason:

I asked Girth Summit to elaborate here because the previous unblocks appear to have misunderstood this as a CheckUser-block. Looking at Girth Summit's response, though, I'm satisfied that, at a minimum, your participation at Talk:Qajar dynasty was not a coincidence, whether or not you are the exact same person behind the earlier edtis to the article. If you would like to edit unrelated parts of Wikipedia, I am potentially open to that, but I will not unblock you to continue editing about the Armenia/Azerbaijan topic area. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 19:36, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Girth Summit: Just to clarify, is this block based on CU info? If not, could you elaborate on the behavioral evidence? I mostly see it but maybe not quite. Feel free to respond by email if you'd prefer. Thanks. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 07:01, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Tamzin , do you have access to check user? If yes, please compare the ip addresses of my veryordinaryperson account and Nisandapuri/KarlukTurco/Zezar2) accounts. If the IP addresses are the same, it is understood that I am guilty anyway. But if it's different, I'm innocent. If you don't have access to the check user, can someone with access please take a look? Thanks Veryordinaryperson (talk) 15:55, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Tamzin, sorry for the slow response, I didn't receive your ping for some reason. This isn't a CU block, but it's based partly on technical findings. A string of new accounts showed up at that article and adjacent ones in a very short space of time. Three of them (Rustam Nisandapuri/KarlukTurco/Zezar2) are confirmed to one another; this account is not confirmed to them, but geolocates to the same city and has the same (fairly common) UA. Over to you if you think I've been overzealous. Girth Summit (blether) 16:38, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is completely ridiculous. I have nothing to do with accounts like Nisandapuri/KarlukTurco/Zezar2). And if I want to corrupt wikipedia, I do something with another device. If I was wrong, I wouldn't tire myself so much anyway. But I say this ban is unfair. It's ridiculous that I got banned because of someone else. I've been trying for days to get my ban removed. Please remove my ban. I haven't done anything wrong anyway, I promise I won't do anything wrong. Thanks Veryordinaryperson (talk) 21:45, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My account was unnecessarily banned. The admin who banned me thought I was a sockpuppet. I only have one account. I have nothing to do with Nisandapuri/KarlukTurco/Zezar2) accounts. Even CheckUser results show that I have nothing to do with those accounts. I just made an edit. I wrote my opinion in the talk section of the "Qajar dynasty" page.
I also searched Nisandapuri/KarlukTurco/Zezar2) accounts. KarkulTurco account has made incorrect changes on the "Qajar dynasty" page. Admin probably thought that account was mine. But I have nothing to do with that account. If I tried to break Wikipedia , I would not tire myself so much for the removal of my ban . There's been a misunderstanding. I've never done anything wrong, I promise I won't do anything wrong . Thanks Veryordinaryperson (talk) 16:51, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are blocked, not banned, there is a difference. I concur with Tamzin above. It could very well be that you are a different person, which would only make this meat puppetry. I also concur with Tamzin's proposed remedy above- you won't be unblocked to edit about the Armenia/Azerbaijan topic area, so we will need to know what you will edit about instead. 331dot (talk) 07:30, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
