Gone[edit]

Sorry guys but I"ll be retiring from wikipedia. I've stayed long enough and I have many many edits towards this encyclopedia. Xz 08:09, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And the rest....[edit]

This is my talk page.--Xz 09:29, 20 November 2006 (UTC

I now understand what wikipedia is but I dont understand what sock puppetry is. --Xz 07:22, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A sockpuppet is an alternate user account. Sometimes people simply want to use another account when editing, for whatever reason. Sockpuppets that are in any way disruptive or that interfere with Wikipedia or Wikipedia processes in any way are prohibited. See Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. —Centrxtalk • 07:26, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks but I was wondering If you had a template that says this user is scared/afraid of sock pupppets thanks, --Xz 07:27, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, we do not.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:39, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help me[edit]

Hi I was wondering like what articles we can create and like which ones you are allowed to create and I also discovered wikiprojects but I'm kinda lost on wikiprojects are. Thanks Xz 06:30, 27 November 2006 (UTC) Welcome to wikipedia! After this answer I will include some links that are good to start you off. To answer your question though, you can create articles about anything we don't have one about already. They should be about topics that are notable and named according to the style guide. It's often a lot easier, when you are starting out, to edit articles that already exist rather than creating new ones. However if you have some ideas about new articles in an area we really need be bold, and don't feel like it's a personal attack if someone deletes them, it's all a learning experience :) If they do get deleted, you will at least be told why! Wikiprojects are combined efforts in certain areas, there are projects for all sorts of fields, and that is definitely a good place to start. Most projects will have lists of things to do to get you started, and you can find a project in almost any interest you have. :) - cohesion 06:57, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Email thing[edit]

{{help me}}

I was wondering if I needed to contact someone with email which is an admin, how do I do that. Thanks for helping, Xz 08:38, 28 November 2006 (UTC) There's a list of admins at Wikipedia:Administrators; if you go to your preferences and enter and confirm a valid email address, you will be able to email them by visiting their user page and clicking on 'e-mail this user' on the sidebar at the left of the screen. If you don't care about other people seeing what your request is, you'll probably get a faster response by going to Wikipedia:Administrator's noticeboard, because that could be answered by any admin and not just the one you emailed. Also make sure you need an administrator before asking; they can't do much more than regular users can. A summary of the entire process for asking for admin help is on Wikipedia:Requests for administrator attention, which is probably worth a read now if you think you're likely to want to contact an admin in the future. --ais523 08:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading pics[edit]

{{helpme}}

How do I upload pics when I create an article. I want to know to put the pictures on the article you've written, Thanks Xz 08:51, 28 November 2006 (UTC) The most important thing to do first is to find an image with a copyright licence that Wikipedia allows; see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. (The page lists both what licences are allowed and what tag is used on Wikipedia to refer to them.) Then read Wikipedia:Images for information on what to do next; there are links on that page which explain how to upload images and include them on pages. --ais523 08:55, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh[edit]

Now I'm starting to understand :)Xz 09:38, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not coming back[edit]

I will retire from wikipedia after a long time. I will not log on after I finish typing this and I will now only use wikipedia to help me with my studies and to help me gather information. So long and good bye. Xz 10:46, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
