Re that category closure[edit]

If you want to query the category for deletion debate closure, to my mind you are better off asking the closer why they closed it, not adding a comment to a closed debate. Edits made after closure are routinely removed. A quick note at User talk:Centrx is the best way of getting a response. Hope that helps. Hiding Talk 21:27, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. I notice you haven't brought this up with Centrx yet, do you intend to or not? Just wondering. Could always move your discussion to the talk page otherwise? Hiding Talk 14:12, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was hoping that Centrix would take the opportunity to clarify the early closure, before this became a "talk page discussion". In any case, I'll leave a note on Centrix's talk page pointing him to this discussion. - jc37 20:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's concerning because it was closed one day after listing. I don't see comments about "speedy", or WP:SNOW, for example, nor the requisite rationale why. This is not unprecedented in CfD, by the way; an editor noting early closure often results in a relisting. - jc37 20:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • To be honest Jc, if you have a concern like this it's polite to ask the closing admin at their talk page. That's the quickest and easiest way of getting a response. Hiding Talk 21:14, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you think that category should not be deleted? —Centrxtalk • 05:37, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have no opinion atm on whether it should be deleted, my concern is that it was deleted after a single day, rather than going through the full length of time - go through the full process - that is customary on CfD, and without any comment stating the rationale for the "out of process" deletion. - jc37 06:25, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
