The article implies that Hirsch didn't know any language before the age of 16^^. I assume that he was fluent in Hebrew, some High German and the German spoken in Berlin of that time maybe to some degree in French. ciao --Pentaclebreaker (talk) 09:55, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would assume that his first language was Yiddish. According to contemporary sources he previously knew only "Hebrew and some poor German" ([1], [2]). Ploni💬 12:53, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
