Riverview Tower[edit]

I'm pretty sure Riverview Tower (the BB&T building next to Plaza Tower) is the second-tallest building in Knoxville. It's 24 stories, although I couldn't find its height in feet in a cursory Google search. Bms4880 (talk) 19:28, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, however I can't find any sources (reliable sources anyway) that state the building is the second tallest building in Knoxville. CrowzRSA 20:46, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm having trouble finding the actual height of it anywhere on the web, but I'm pretty sure it should be there. I'm also pretty sure that "The Tower at Morgan Hill" (the former Kingston Apartments) is taller than some of the things on this list, seeing as it's 22 floors, but I haven't found something with a height in feet to cite yet. I found an old News-Sentinel article (1/31/2007) that states the Kingston Apartments building is "one of the tallest" in Knoxville, and that "only the downtown office buildings First Tennessee Plaza Tower and Riverview Tower" are taller. I have made the adjustments. We probably need a more reliable source for the remaining buildings, since Emporis is a user-generated site. Bms4880 (talk) 21:48, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More problems with this list[edit]

There are clearly some omissions in the Emporis list. The Hilton Downtown (on Church) is 18 stories, the General Building (First Bank) on South Market is 15 stories. I'm also wondering about the Bank of America Center on Main and the AmSouth building Gay. Bms4880 (talk) 03:55, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
